Is Theater Camp licensed?

Yes, we are licensed by the State of New Jersey.

What are the hours of Theater Camp?

Our Theater Camp day runs from 8:30am until 5pm. Half-day Theater Camp is from 8:30-1pm.

What time is drop-off at Theater Camp?

Drop-off is between 8:30am and 9am. If you need to drop off before 8:30 we offer before care starting at 7:30 am for an additional fee.

What time is pick-up at Theater Camp?

Pick up is between 4:30pm and 5pm. If you are not able to pick up your child by 5pm we offer after care until 6pm for an additional fee.

How much does Theater Camp cost?

Our camp is one of the most affordable and fun day camps in all of New Jersey!

Registration is done online by first creating an account. Once you have an account set up then complete the registration process. We also have a technical support email if you need help with your online account.

Is transportation included?

No. We do not offer transportation.

Do you offer sibling discounts?

Yes. Get 5% off each sibling after the first child is registered at full price. Sibling(s) must be under the same family household. Discount will be shown on the registration form.

Do you have a Before & After care program?

Yes, we do. 1 hour Before Care 7:30-8:30am is $40 per week. 1 hour After Care 5-6pm is $40 per week. If you need both, the cost is $80 per week.

What is your Refund Policy?

What are the ages of campers at Theater Camp?

We accept children entering 1st grade thru 10th grade.

How are the age groups divided?

Children are grouped by grade. Each grade is assigned the appropriate number of counselors depending on the size of the grade. Grades 1 thru 5 are in lower camp. Grades 6-9 are in upper camp.

How many campers are at camp?

We have approximately 150 campers at camp per session.

What is the ratio of counselors to campers?

Our goal is to provide a ratio of one counselor to every 7 campers in a group.

Do you provide lunch?

Our lunch program is just like school. Our campers can buy their lunch at camp or they can bring it from home. A lunch menu/form will be email out to all registered a week prior to the start date.

Are campers required to take a swim test?

All our campers are required to take a swim test. They will be given wrist bands to wear during “pool time” that determine their level and ability to swim.

Are lifeguards at the pool?

Yes, the pool is supervised by lifeguards. All our lifeguards are trained and Red Cross certified.

Do you offer swimming lessons?

Swimming lessons are offered separately through the lifeguard staff run by the Elks organization.

Will there be a nurse at camp?

Yes. A registered Nurse or an EMT will be on site at Theater Camp. All lifeguards on duty are also certified in first aid.

Do you offer a CIT program?

Yes, teenagers entering 10th grade can apply to be a Counselor-in-Training. Click here for information.

What are the Guidelines for Tipping Counselors?

Tipping counselors is customary at all camps throughout the United States. We suggest a tip of $7.50 per week for each child’s counselors given on the last day of each session or at the end of the season if your child is attending all 8 weeks.

What are the fees for late Pick Up?

Our staff is responsible for your children from 8:30am until 5:00pm. After 5:00pm your children will be enrolled in After Care and you will be charged: $20 for the first 15 minutes, then $1 per minute until 6pm. If your child is not picked up by 6pm, you will be charged $5 per minute from 6pm till pick up.
