Children's Theater Programs

National Award Winner
In 1988 the National Recreation & Parks Association had a contest. The contest was, "What is the best program for children in the United States of America?" Our Summer Theater Camp was submitted into the contest and first won the top honors in the state of New Jersey, then the Eastern States' top award, and eventually went on to win the Dorothy Mullen Arts and Humanities Award for"Best Program for Children in the United States of America." After winning this prestigious award, our company received many calls from school administrators and organizations asking us to bring our program to their students. Thus we created THEATER WEEK.

"The feedback I received from parents, teachers, and most important the children was all extremely positive. The example you set with your energy, good spirit, sense of humor, and focus demonstrated outstanding practice in teaching. BRAVO."

At Your School
THEATER WEEK is now available to come to your school and produce an elaborate full scale musical production in five days starring your students. Roles are provided for all who wish to participate.

"Rumplestiltskin was an enjoyable and rewarding experience for the 103 students who volunteered to participate, The program was a huge success. The parents and family members who attended the performance were pleasantly surprised to see a very professional presentation."

Robert B. Jaggard School PTA - Marlton. NJ

The actors rehearse after school Monday through Friday for two hours each day, and present their fully staged musical production Friday evening to the entire community. As the curtain opens, parents are delighted to see their children's colorful costumes, the elaborate scenery, and the array of smiles.

Great Self-Esteem Builder
THEATER WEEK is designed to build the child's self-esteem. The students gain confidence as they learn that they can excel by using their own inner talents. The program stresses creative dramatics and improvisational techniques. THEATER WEEK is also ideal for children who have shown talent or expressed interest in the performing arts. As the play progresses, students may play a peasant in one scene, an acrobat or dancer in the next, a King or Queen, or even a super hero. Many children wish to actually perform as an actor, singer, and dancer in a full scale production, and THEATER WEEK gives them the opportunity to shine.

"Your program has definitely given my son more confidence and I can't thank you enough. I was able to watch rehearsals and observe how you encourage the many energetic children to perform to the best of their abilities. I was even more impressed when Friday rolled
around and magic was in the air."

Fantastic Fund-Raiser
THEATER WEEK has been provided by some schools as a cultural enrichment program. THEATER WEEK can also be an excellent fund-raiser. Many PTA's and PTO's have raised a considerable amount of money by selling tickets for the performance.

"I have been dealing with your production company for 5 years, seen 5 different shows, and I have never been the least disappointed. In one short week you bring out the talent, the enthusiasm, and the joy of drama in all types and ages of students. The audience is always
delighted by the end results."

An Annual Treat
Our THEATER WEEK program has been presented in many schools throughout the United States, since winning the prestigious award in 1988. The students have gained experience, knowledge, and a greater appreciation for the performing arts. THEATER WEEK has been such a success, that schools continue to bring us back year after year as an annual treat for their students.
