Taubenslag Productions is a Professional Touring Children's Theater Company dedicated to presenting quality family entertainment. Our productions have been captivating audiences throughout the nation since 1964. Our formula is simple: Never talk down to the children; Always keep a fast pace; And visually stimulate their imaginations. Our goal is not merely to entertain the children, but to bring out the child in their parents as well; making it a memorable experience for everyone in the entire family.

Our company began its residence at the Jan Hus Theater in New York City in 1964. We were also the resident Children's Theater company at the Middlesex County College for nineteen successful years. In 1994, Taubenslag Productions began touring. In Bergen County (NJ), we regularly sell out 2400 seats. Queens Theatre in the Park (Flushing Meadows Corona Park) audiences rave that we are the best company they've ever seen. Our author, Elliott Taubenslag, is the proud recipient of the Dorothy Mullen Arts and Humanities Award for "Best Children's Program in the United States of America".

Another endeavor of the company, HOW I SURVIVE HIGH SCHOOL, an original pop musical, toured the New Jersey high schools for ten successful years from 1986 -1996. The assembly program, which confronts the issues of teenage life, was so popular with student and school administrators, that the company created HOW I SURVIVE HIGH SCHOOL - PART II and PART III to meet the growing demand. The final chapter of HOW I SURVIVE HIGH SCHOOL landed it in high schools throughout the country, as it is now available to Drama Clubs to perform as their Spring Musical.

During the summer, Taubenslag Productions runs two successful Children's Theater Camps. One at Middlesex County College in Edison New Jersey and the other in East Brunswick NJ. Each week the campers present a different show to over 900 audience members.

THEATER WEEK, a week-long self esteem building program, has been successful in hundreds of Elementary Schools throughout the tri-state.

Our original musical comedies for children have been entertaining and delighting families nationwide. We have built a reputation that keeps our audiences coming back year after year. Our motto: "Give our audiences a day they'll never forget!"
